Completion of a Qualification Thesis as a Tool for Forming Project-Management Competence of Future Masters of Physical Culture Based on a Systems Approach

Abstract

Purpose. The article substantiates the role of the qualification thesis as an integrative tool for training masters of physical culture (specialty A4.11). The objective is to prove that a research task based on a systems approach serves as an effective means of forming project-management competence, modeling the real-world activities of a teacher-manager. Methods. A complex of scientific methods was applied: a systems approach for analyzing the qualification thesis as a multi-level activity; a method of modeling educational environments to visualize the graduate student's managerial actions; and a theoretical analysis of literature on pedagogy, biomechanics, and management to identify criteria for the project effectiveness of the research. Results. It is proven that in the process of completing the thesis, graduate students master skills in analyzing the regulatory framework, modeling inclusive environments, and developing innovative programs. Project-management competence is defined as the ability to independently determine strategic goals, plan resources, coordinate educational process participants (students, assistants, administration), and monitor results. The systems approach promotes the development of critical thinking through the integration of interdisciplinary knowledge. It is demonstrated that completing the thesis forms readiness for decision-making in complex situations, which is critical for inclusive education. It is revealed that digital monitoring tools within the research automate managerial functions. Conclusions. The practical significance of the work lies in creating conditions for the master's professional self-affirmation. The main conclusion is that the qualification thesis becomes a relevant model of future professional activity rather than just a final report. Completing such work is a means of preparing a competitive specialist in the A4.11 field, capable of acting in conditions of inclusivity and a competence-based approach. The project logic of preparation is a guarantee of successful adaptation for graduates in educational institutions.
