Abstract

The digital transformation of education is one of the main trends of modern social development, driven by the rapid introduction of information and communication technologies, the development of artificial intelligence, globalization and the growing need for flexible and personalized learning. The aim of the article is to analyze the main challenges faced by the technical education system in the context of digitalization and to outline approaches to increase the efficiency of the educational process. Methods. The study conducted a comparative analysis and systematized scientific sources on the regulation of the use of digital tools in technical education. Theoretical generalization was used to formulate conclusions. Results. The article examines the main challenges faced by educational institutions after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, in particular, the destruction of educational infrastructure, the forced displacement of students and teachers, problems with ensuring energy supply, and limited access to educational materials. Considerable attention is paid to the role of digital technologies, particularly online platforms and cloud services, in ensuring the continuity of the educational process in distance learning. It was found that digitalization encompasses not only the integration of modern technologies into the educational process but also contributes to fundamental organizational transformations in the activities of educational institutions, including updating curricula and developing the digital competencies of applicants and teachers. Conclusions. Innovative technologies significantly affect the training of future specialists in Ukraine, ensuring the modernization of educational processes, the individualization of learning and increased accessibility of education. It is shown that the introduction of digital solutions into the educational sphere is not only a challenge but also a promising opportunity for improving the quality of training of specialists in engineering and technical specialties, which makes it possible to create a competitive education system that meets international standards and the requirements of the modern labor market.
