Abstract

The article addresses the issue of improving the professional training of nurses in the context of the growing role of nutritional therapy in modern clinical practice. The relevance of the study is обусловлена an increase in the number of patients with nutritional disorders and the need to enhance the quality of clinical support within multidisciplinary interaction. The expediency of integrating elective disciplines "Clinical Biochemistry" and "Fundamentals of Dietetics" as a means of developing clinical thinking, analytical skills, and professional competencies of future nurses is substantiated. Methods. The study employed theoretical analysis of scientific sources, generalization of modern approaches to assessing patients' nutritional status, and comparative analysis of educational models for nurse training. The methodological basis of the research includes systemic and interdisciplinary approaches, involving a combination of clinical, laboratory, and anthropometric methods for patient assessment. Results. Modern approaches to the assessment of nutritional status based on the integrated use of clinical, laboratory, and anthropometric indicators were analyzed. The key role of interprofessional interaction in ensuring effective nutritional support for patients was determined. An integrated model for nurse training is proposed, incorporating anamnestic, anthropometric, biochemical, and clinical components. It was established that the implementation of modern pedagogical technologies, including simulation-based learning, case methods, and digital educational platforms, contributes to improving the level of professional training, developing clinical thinking, and enhancing readiness for independent practical activity. Conclusions. The integration of knowledge from clinical biochemistry and dietetics is an important factor in improving the effectiveness of nurse training. The proposed model facilitates the development of the ability to comprehensively assess the patient's condition, improves the quality of monitoring and correction of nutritional therapy, and enhances interprofessional collaboration. The obtained results can be used to improve educational programs in accordance with modern healthcare requirements and the principles of evidence-based medicine.
