Methodology for integrating original coloring techniques into the higher professional education system for specialists in the field of aesthetics

Abstract

The article analyzes modern approaches to training specialists in the aesthetic field and emphasizes the need to update programs to meet the beauty industry's needs and requirements. The purpose of the article is to provide a comprehensive theoretical and methodological justification for the pedagogical feasibility of integrating original hair coloring techniques, in particular Velour Luxe, into the system of higher professional education as a tool for forming professional competencies of future specialists in the aesthetic field. The methodological tools of the study are based on the integration of theoretical and analytical methods, pedagogical and diagnostic methods and evaluation methods. Results. The study characterizes the competency-based, personality-oriented, activity-based, and integrative approaches used in higher education institutions to develop professional competence in applicants. The pedagogical and professional prerequisites for integrating original hair coloring techniques into the training programs of hairdressers-stylists are determined. A comprehensive theoretical and methodological justification of the feasibility of introducing the Velour Luxe technique into the programs of the disciplines «Hairdressing Technologies», «Modern Hair Coloring Techniques», «Hairstyle Design and Imageology», and «Professional Skills» was carried out. The results of the study confirm the feasibility of integrating innovative professional practices into the educational process as an effective means of developing the key and specialized competencies of future specialists, as well as their professional thinking, creativity and practical readiness. Conclusions. It was established that the proposed three-component model (theoretical, practical and reflective-analytical blocks) is an effective holistic training system that ensures consistent acquisition of knowledge and skills, the development of self-reflection and the ability to adapt in the dynamic beauty industry. Further research should focus on improving methodological approaches to the development of professional competencies of future specialists in the aesthetic field, as well as on the development of innovative learning models to train highly qualified, creative and competitive specialists.
