Abstract

Introduction. In the context of modern globalization and the growing demand for a healthy lifestyle, fitness tours are gaining significance as an innovative form of health-improving and recreational activity. They combine physical activity, recovery, and educational components, contributing to the formation of sustainable health-saving practices. At the same time, in Ukraine, this direction is at an incipient stage, which necessitates a theoretical and methodological reflection on the models of their organization and adaptation to current socio-economic conditions. Purpose. To conduct a theoretical and methodological analysis of organizational models for fitness tours and to substantiate the prospects for their implementation in Ukraine. Materials and Methods. A complex of general scientific and special methods was used: analysis, synthesis, generalization, and systematization of scientific literature; comparative analysis of international and Ukrainian approaches; structural-functional analysis; the modeling method; and the extrapolation method for forecasting the development of fitness tourism in Ukraine. Results. It has been established that four leading models of fitness tour organization have emerged in global practice: Asian (intensive transformation), European (wellness and recreation), North American (efficiency and technologization), and Latin American (emotion-oriented recovery). Their key organizational and methodological features and target audiences have been identified. It is substantiated that a unique model is forming in Ukraine, oriented toward psychophysical recovery, stress management, and the activation of domestic tourism under martial law conditions. The prospects of utilizing the natural and recreational potential of regions (the Carpathians, lake, and resort zones) and integrating multidisciplinary support have been identified. Conclusions. The expediency of implementing a hybrid model of fitness tours in Ukraine, which combines intensity, motivational mechanisms, and comfort-recreational components, has been proven. The efficiency of its implementation depends on the standardization of programs, infrastructure development, professional training, and the consideration of security conditions.
