Abstract

The relevance of the study is determined by the increasing role of soft skills in the structure of professional training of future specialists under conditions of educational digitalization and labor market transformation. The growing demands for communication, teamwork, and adaptability actualize the need to identify effective pedagogical solutions capable of ensuring their systematic development. In this context, integrated virtual environments and collaborative learning are considered as promising tools for organizing the educational process. The purpose of the study is defined as the theoretical substantiation and development of practice-oriented approaches to the formation of soft skills of future specialists in the process of collaborative learning in integrated virtual environments. The research methods are based on theoretical generalization, analysis and synthesis of scientific sources, a structural-functional approach, as well as logical-analytical modeling to identify the relationships between the organization of interaction and learning outcomes. Results. The study clarifies the essence of soft skills and their functional role in professional training. The potential of collaborative learning in integrated virtual environments as a mechanism for developing these competencies is analyzed. Methodological approaches to organizing learner interaction are substantiated, based on ensuring interdependence of actions, structuring roles, and integrating digital tools into the logic of learning activity. Key scientific and practical problems are identified, including the complexity of assessing soft skills, the formalization of collaboration, uneven participation, and the limited transfer of results into professional activity. Conclusions. It is proven that the effectiveness of soft skills formation is ensured under conditions of systematic organization of collaborative learning, orientation toward a shared outcome, and the use of scenarios close to real professional situations. Prospects for further research are associated with the development of valid assessment tools, empirical verification of the proposed approaches, and the study of long-term effects of soft skills development in digital educational environments.
