Abstract

Modern conditions of warfare are accompanied by a significant increase in the number of military personnel requiring long-term recovery after combat injuries, wounds, and exposure to intense physical and psycho-emotional stress. In the process of recovery of military personnel, physical culture and rehabilitation classes aimed at restoring the functional state of the body, improving adaptive capabilities, physical performance, and resistance to physical loads become especially important. Objective of the study is to analyze modern scientific approaches to the organization of physical culture and rehabilitation classes in the system of recovery and readaptation of military personnel and to summarize data regarding their impact on the functional state of the body and readaptation processes. Research methods: theoretical analysis, generalization and systematization of scientific-methodological and specialized literature data, comparison of modern scientific approaches. Research results. The analysis of modern scientific sources indicates that the consequences of combat injuries, prolonged hypokinesia, and restricted motor activity are accompanied by impaired functional state of the body, decreased physical performance, adaptive reserves, and resistance to physical loads. It has been established that modern physical culture and rehabilitation classes should be based on the principles of complexity, individualization, and gradual readaptation of military personnel. It was determined that the combination of physical therapy, physical exercises, physical culture and sports rehabilitation, and monitoring of the functional state of the body contributes to increasing the effectiveness of the recovery process. It was found that an important direction of the modern recovery system is the development of models of physical culture and rehabilitation classes taking into account the nature of combat injuries, the level of functional impairments, adaptive capabilities of the body, and the specifics of the professional activity of military personnel. Conclusions. Physical culture and rehabilitation classes are an important component of the recovery and readaptation system of military personnel after combat injuries. Their effectiveness depends on the rational dosage of physical loads, individualization of recovery programs, and comprehensive combination of physical therapy and physical culture and sports rehabilitation.
