Abstract

The modern development of education is characterized by the active implementation of integrative and interdisciplinary approaches aimed at forming a holistic view of the world around students. The rapid development of science, digital technologies and global social challenges involves updating the content of natural education and directing it towards the formation of key competencies of the 21st century. Within this framework, the integration of natural sciences is considered an important direction of modernization of the educational process, ensuring the combination of knowledge from different scientific fields, the development of systems thinking, research skills and practical orientation of learning. The purpose of the study is to analyze the theoretical and practical principles of integrating natural sciences into the modern educational process, to determine the role of interdisciplinary approaches in forming a holistic natural science picture of the world, to develop key competencies of education seekers, and to substantiate the feasibility of using digital technologies and STEM-oriented learning in the context of educational transformation. At the same time, attention is paid to the study of integrative and interdisciplinary approaches as the basis for the modernization of natural science education, as well as to determine their impact on the development of systemic thinking, research skills, environmental awareness, and cognitive activity of students. The research methods are based on the use of general scientific and pedagogical methods - analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison, and systematization of scientific sources with problems of integrating natural sciences. The work uses the method of theoretical analysis of modern scientific approaches to interdisciplinary learning, STEM education, digitalization of the educational process and the use of artificial intelligence technologies in science education. The results of the study showed that the integration of natural sciences is an important condition for updating the content of modern education and increasing its practical orientation. It was established that the interdisciplinary approach provides a combination of knowledge from physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and information technologies into a holistic system, contributing to the understanding of natural processes and phenomena.
