Abstract

The factors of trauma in choreography are systematized, the structure of risks for the musculoskeletal system of performers is characterized, and effective approaches to the prevention of injuries in the training system of choreographer students are substantiated. The following methods are used: theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, systematization and generalization of data from modern epidemiological studies and systematic reviews in the field of sports medicine. It was established that the prevalence of musculoskeletal injuries among modern and contemporary dancers is 82% (95%), and the level of trauma is from 0.62 to 5.6 injuries per 1000 hours of dance practice. About 72% of injuries are caused by the mechanism of overload (overuse), and the lower limb is most often affected - the foot and ankle joint (49%), the knee and the musculo-tendon apparatus. Three groups of risk factors were identified: physical (excessive training load, muscle imbalance, insufficient level of physical fitness, previous injuries), environmental (floor covering, footwear, microclimate of the rehearsal space) and psychological (stress, perfectionism, eating disorders, low level of coping resources). The evidence base on the effectiveness of preventive interventions was summarized: strength and conditioning training significantly improve physical fitness and reduce injuries; systematic screening and health monitoring allow identifying risk groups; psychological support increases the effectiveness of prevention and rehabilitation. Conclusions: effective prevention of injuries in choreography requires an interdisciplinary approach that combines physical training, health monitoring and psychological support. Training of higher education students in life safety should include practical competencies in injury prevention as a mandatory component of professional training.
