Introduction. The article examines modern models of sports club management in the field of physical culture and sport. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to improve the efficiency of sports organizations management under conditions of transformation of the sports sector, globalization processes, and digitalization of management systems.
The purpose of the study is to conduct a comparative analysis of modern sports club management models and to identify the prospects for their implementation within the system of physical culture and sport in Ukraine.
Materials and methods. The study employed methods of analysis and generalization of scientific literature, comparative analysis, a systems approach, and theoretical modeling. The analysis of sports club management models was carried out according to the following criteria: ownership structure, organizational objectives, funding sources, stakeholder participation, and the level of club autonomy.
Results. A comparative analysis of the Anglo-American, German, community-based, mixed, and franchising models of sports club management was conducted. It was established that the Anglo-American and franchising models are characterized by a high level of commercialization and financial efficiency; however, they limit public participation in governance processes. The German and community-based models ensure greater social orientation, transparency, and democratic governance, although they have limited opportunities for attracting investments. It was determined that the mixed model combines the advantages of different approaches and ensures a balance between economic efficiency and social responsibility.
Conclusions. It is substantiated that the mixed model of sports club management is the most promising for Ukraine, as it combines public administration, private investment, and community participation. Promising directions for improving the management system in the field of physical culture and sport include the development of partnerships, enhancement of management efficiency, and implementation of digital technologies.
