The paper theoretically substantiates and develops a structural and content model of professionally important qualities of a physical education teacher for effective coaching activities in school sports sections. Using a complex of theoretical, empirical and statistical methods, a three-stage system of advanced training of teachers (diagnostic, formative stages and self-improvement stage) has been created. It has been experimentally proven that the implementation of the proposed toolkit ensures the transformation of the reproductive role of a teacher into a highly effective activity of a trainer-educator. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate and develop a set and a structural and content model of professionally important qualities of a physical education teacher necessary for the effective implementation of coaching activities in school sports sections. Research methods: a complex of interconnected theoretical (analysis, synthesis, systematization, classification, modeling), empirical (observation, questionnaire, survey, expert evaluation, pedagogical experiment) and statistical research methods to substantiate, develop and verify the effectiveness of the methodological system. Main results. The results obtained confirm that extracurricular sectional work on sports games requires going beyond standard educational programs, in-depth specialization and management of team dynamics. The identified multi-level system of professionally important qualities demonstrates a close relationship between pedagogical, psychological, tactical-methodical and emotional-volitional components. Psychological-pedagogical qualities form the basis for trust in the team, while tactical-methodical and volitional components ensure the stability of the teacher in extreme situations of sports confrontation. The implementation of the developed three-stage toolkit successfully overcame the contradiction between classroom training in higher education and the real requirements of children's and youth sports. Thanks to diagnostics, trainings and self-improvement, the transformation of the reproductive role of the teacher into the highly effective activity of a coach-educator was ensured. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the fact that for the first time a model of professionally important qualities (PQ) of a physical education teacher as a coach of a school section of sports games in four blocks (psychological-pedagogical, tactical-methodical, communicative-organizational, emotional-volitional) was theoretically substantiated; the understanding of the specifics of extracurricular section work, which requires the transformation of the role of the teacher into a coach-educator, was improved; the methodological toolkit of the teacher training system for the purposeful formation of PQ was further developed. The practical significance of the work lies in the development and implementation of a holistic system for institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education and methodological centers, which includes: a diagnostic stage (questionnaire, expert assessment, case method) to identify the level of formation of professionally important qualities; a formative stage (stress resistance training, coaching microsimulations, coaching sessions) for the development of special coaching competencies; a self-improvement stage (reflection diary, individual development programs, participation in professional communities) for continuous professional growth in the inter-course period. The use of this toolkit ensures effective training of physical education teachers to manage school sports sections and achieve high results in the competitive activities of students.Downloads
