The purpose of the article was to study the role of digital platforms in improving the quality of education of telecommunications specialists. The work uses such general scientific methods as analysis, synthesis, deduction, concretization, and generalization. The rapid development of the telecommunications industry requires professionals to constantly update their knowledge and skills, and digital platforms are a key tool in this process. They provide access to a variety of learning materials, interactive tools and expert knowledge, facilitating flexible and personalized learning. Digital platforms provide learning at any time and from any place, which is especially important for professionals who combine work and study. They include interactive elements such as video lectures, simulations, virtual labs, and discussion forums that promote deep understanding of the material and development of practical skills. In addition, digital platforms allow implementing adaptive learning, where materials and tasks are selected according to the level of knowledge and needs of each student, which ensures an individual approach to learning. However, the implementation of digital platforms faces certain challenges, such as the need to ensure high quality content, its relevance and constant updating. It is also important to prepare teachers to work with digital platforms and develop their digital competencies. Despite these challenges, digital platforms greatly expand access to educational resources and facilitate the development of personalized learning. The article analyzes the advantages and challenges of using digital platforms, identifies key factors affecting their effectiveness, and provides practical recommendations for optimizing their use for training highly qualified specialists in the field of telecommunications.
