Social and Psychological Support for the Education of Pupils, Students, and Attendees of Out-of-School Education Institutions in the Context of War

This article examines the important issue of socio-psychological support of education and upbringing of students who are in extra-curricular education institutions during the military conflict. The authors analyze the impact of war events on the psychological state of children and youth, and also consider effective methods and strategies of social and psychological support. The article reveals the main principles and tasks of social and psychological support, such as creating a safe and favorable environment for development, psychological support and counseling of participants in the educational process, as well as the implementation of programs and measures to reduce stress and increase resilience. The role of the national program «The child is not alone» (a resource for supporting children during war, the content of which is available online) is defined. The author analyzes the main areas of work of shelters for children and centers for social and psychological rehabilitation of children. activities carried out by public organizations in conditions of war. Examples of activities carried out by public organizations in the conditions of war are given. A significant number of projects are listed, which are conducted in online and offline formats.
In the article, the author emphasizes the importance of summer scientific schools for children, especially in the context of wartime conditions. Extracurricular institutions play an important role in the socio-psychological support of children, providing them not only with the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, but also psychological support and a sense of stability. Summer science schools create an environment where children can interact with peers, engage in interesting projects and distract themselves from negative news. They promote socialization, help maintain or restore psychological balance, support emotional health and promote the development of important skills. Summer scientific schools and other out-of-school institutions become an important component of the children's support system, helping them to adapt to difficult life circumstances and maintain a positive attitude.
The results of the study help to determine the optimal approaches to the organization of social and psychological support of the educational process in the conditions of war.
