In accordance with modern educational standards and approaches, considerable attention is paid to the practical training of students, which goes beyond traditional education and includes innovative technologies and simulation methods. This allows students not only to acquire theoretical knowledge but also to actively improve their practical skills in conditions that are as close to real as possible. This is especially true in the field of gynecology and obstetrics, where every practical skill can be critical. The use of modern medical simulation equipment and interactive teaching methods contributes to the formation of highly qualified future doctors who are ready to respond effectively to the challenges of modern medical practice. This, in turn, helps to improve the overall quality of medical services and ensures a high level of professional training. The authors emphasize that the search, development and implementation of new teaching tools is a priority in the work of a teacher. A graduate of a medical institution of higher education should have basic practical skills both for emergency care and for the prevention of various diseases and complications. It is emphasized that modern conditions require more effort from the graduate, need more time for preparation, which is why the development of ways to learn practical skills is an urgent issue. Skills can only be acquired in medical institutions or simulation medicine training centers. Full and high-quality mastery of practical skills will contribute to the quality of a doctor's work, as it broadens the worldview and gives confidence in decision-making. Perfect mastery of practical skills contributes to the timely and competent provision of care in gynecological pathology, but the acquisition of some practical skills in gynecology, especially in childhood and adolescence, has a number of features, and their implementation in a hospital is not always possible. These skills include gynecological examination, bimanual vaginal and rectal examination, especially in adolescents. Some of the skills are performed in healthcare facilities using medical equipment and tools to provide medical care. These are practical skills of cervical examination, bimanual, external and internal obstetric examination, and stopping gynecological bleeding. Another group of skills is to bring the algorithm of emergency medical care to automaticity. The teachers considered ways to overcome the problem of mastering practical skills, presented the results of the introduction of new methods of studying and practicing practical skills in gynecology for students of the 4th and 6th courses of the specialty “Medicine”, who study the discipline “Obstetrics and Gynecology”.
