In the conditions of distance learning, which has become one of the main forms of education in Ukraine under martial law, the issue of motivation of all participants in the educational process has become particularly relevant. Immersive technologies contribute to the creation of an effective, exciting and personalized educational environment that can significantly increase the motivation of future teachers. The defining characteristics of all immersive learning technologies are given. Technologies of virtual and augmented reality, which have become powerful tools capable of radically changing the educational process, are characterized. The use of these technologies contributes to a deeper understanding of complex concepts, the establishment of cross-curricular connections and the integration of different learning methods. Despite the fact that augmented and virtual reality technologies have made a real revolution in the training methods of future teachers, they are still at the stage of development and require significant investment and large-scale adaptation. The conclusions indicate that virtual and augmented reality represent a significant potential for improving the educational process through the creation of interactive and exciting environments that contribute to increasing the motivation of students of pedagogical education.
