Implementation of Interactive Teaching Methods as a Way to Democratise the Educational Process

Abstract

In the modern educational environment, an important aspect is the introduction of interactive teaching methods that contribute to the democratisation of the educational process. This article discusses the contribution of information and communication technologies to higher education, with a focus on their role in shaping an interactive learning environment, which is an important step towards democratic changes in the educational process. To achieve this goal, a comprehensive analysis of international research data from 2019 to 2024 was used. The study includes a review and analysis of the impact of the interactive learning environment on the formation of interactive elements in distance learning. The results of the study confirm that interactive teaching methods that actively use information and communication technologies significantly improve the quality of education. They create conditions for effective interaction between teachers and students, encouraging active participation of all participants in the process. This interaction not only expands learning opportunities, but also creates a democratic culture where every participant in education has the right to express their opinion and influence the learning process. The introduction of interactive teaching methods into the educational process can indeed be an important step towards the democratisation of education. Interactive methods, such as group work, discussions, projects, role-playing games, and others, contribute to the active involvement of students in the learning process, which in turn increases their motivation and interest in learning. Highlighting the aspects that emphasise the importance of interactive methods in the context of education democratisation is an important step for the development of new education. The development of interactive teaching methods through information and communication technologies is a key factor contributing to the democratisation of the educational process. They help to create a more open and equal educational environment where interaction and cooperation are integral elements of learning. The article emphasises the importance of further research in this area and stresses the need to improve educational design to ensure the maximum level of interactivity and efficiency of the learning process. This approach not only meets the requirements of the time, but also opens up new horizons for the development of the educational system in Ukraine and the world.
