The article "Methodology of differentiated application of physical means of recovery at the stage of pre-competition training of athletes" substantiates the peculiarities of the use of restorative measures that ensure the optimal functional state of the neuromuscular apparatus of the athletes' body at the stage of pre-competition training.
On the example of the pre-competition training mesocycle of highly qualified boxers, a method of differentiated use of physical means of recovery was developed, namely manual massage, vibration impact, hydro-impact, thermal impact, and the parameters of their use were substantiated. Constantly growing requirements for training and competitive activities of highly qualified athletes necessitate the timely use of the entire arsenal of means that stimulate and increase the performance of athletes. Therefore, as in the past, the question of the use of various restorative measures during the period of intensive training is of urgent importance. Therefore, the work highlights the use of physical means of recovery as one of the available and highly effective ways of increasing sports performance. In sports practice, restorative measures are applied taking into account the specifics of the sport and can be differentiated depending on the nature of physical exertion, their volume and intensity, the period of preparation, the degree of fatigue and the functional state of the athletes and their qualifications.
The article presents the approximate content of the pre-competitive mesocycle of training athletes using physical means of recovery. Using the example of a training plan before the competitive mesocycle of training boxers, a training plan was drawn up with the inclusion of physical means of recovery in the training process. Various means of recovery using massage, hydrotherapy, vibration effects are offered. Their content and methods of carrying out in the conditions of the training process with the aim of restoring the performance of athletes are characterized.
