Abstract

The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that in the context of digital transformation, the professional development of teachers takes on new dimensions. Traditional approaches to professional training no longer meet modern demands, particularly due to the rapid development of technologies and the growing need for digital competencies. Professional development of educators is key to improving the quality of education, the competitiveness of educational institutions, and their adaptation to global changes. The purpose of the study is to explore innovative approaches to the professional development of teachers in the digital age and to identify effective methods for improving their qualifications in response to new educational challenges. The research methods include an analysis of scientific publications, a comparative analysis of innovative and traditional approaches, and a study of international and national experiences in implementing digital technologies in the process of teacher professional development. Additionally, methods of generalization and systematization were used to identify key trends in professional development. These methods allowed for the evaluation of the effectiveness of various digital tools in the educational process. The results of the study showed that the integration of digital platforms such as MOOCs and artificial intelligence enhances the flexibility and adaptability of training programs, enabling the individualization of the learning process. Teachers who actively use digital tools are better prepared for the new challenges of the educational environment. The research also revealed that teachers require more technical and methodological support. The conclusions emphasize the importance of implementing individualized professional development plans, interactive digital technologies, and international collaboration to improve the professional competence of teachers. This will contribute to improving the quality of education in the context of digital transformations.
