Abstract

The article is devoted to the disclosure of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the formation of social competence among future specialists of pedagogical specialties and the analysis of its significance as one of the key factors of professional training of teachers of institutions of general secondary education. Social competence is considered as an important integrative characteristic, including the ability to build effective communications, show empathy, resolve conflicts, cooperate with participants in the educational process and adapt to modern socio-cultural challenges.

The study uses theoretical analysis of scientific sources, methods for comparing and systematizing concepts, and a logical approach to summarize key results. Particular attention is paid to the competence of pedagogical partnership as a component of social competence. The pedagogical partnership involves the ability to interact subject-subject with applicants for education, involvement of parents in the educational process based on equal partnership, and cooperation with colleagues and other specialists to support applicants for education, in particular with special educational needs.

The results of the study indicate that the social competence of the future teacher is a prerequisite for creating a favorable psychological climate and contributes to the development of applicants for education through the satisfaction of their intellectual, emotional, and social needs. It plays a key role in the socialization of education recipients, especially in inclusive settings, providing equal opportunities for all participants in the educational process.

Social competence is a determining component of professional teacher training, which ensures effective interaction, promotes professional growth, and meets the requirements of modern educational practice. Its formation creates the basis for the training of teachers who can work in a team, and apply flexible approaches to learning. Social competence ensures the teacher's readiness for effective communication and constructive cooperation in conditions of rapid social change, which is necessary for successful professional self-realization and active participation in the reform of education.
