Abstract

An important part of education is the arts, especially in the context of higher education. Given the global digital transformation of society, the acquisition of art history allows to educate knowledgeable, tolerant and competitive specialists, promoting the development of critical thinking, creativity and practical skills. The relevance of the study is due to the need to involve foreign experience in the system of professional training of future music specialists in order to reform existing teaching methods. The purpose of the study is to compare the professional training of future music specialists in Ukraine and the Republic of China. The research methods include a review of relevant scientific literature, analysis of regulatory documents, as well as a comparison of teaching approaches in both countries, and identification of the advantages of existing differences. The method of data systematization was used to highlight the key aspects of the study. The main results show that despite the presence of common features, the Ukrainian and Chinese education systems differ significantly. It is also important to involve progressive tools in the educational process of both countries, which allows us to comprehend the depth of musicology, study complex phenomena, and integrate digital elements into learning. They facilitate deep interaction with educational materials, which increases the interest of students and allows them to adapt learning to their academic needs. The conclusions of the study emphasize the need to revise the existing system of art education in Ukraine, as well as to improve the skills of teachers with the help of Chinese experience. Further research is related to the identification of methods that will facilitate the mutual exchange of knowledge and experience between Ukraine and the Republic of China, a symbiotic combination of values and professional qualities that determine the personalitys ability to implement cultural and creative activities and solve professional problems.
