Abstract

The topic of this article, the formation of information-analytical competence in law undergraduates, is extremely relevant in the context of contemporary challenges, particularly the rapid digitalization, development of information technologies, and changes in the legal environment. The importance of this competence for future lawyers is determined by the need to effectively process, analyze, and use large volumes of legal information, which is critical for making well-founded legal decisions. Information-analytical competence includes a number of key skills, such as the ability to work with information resources, use analytical methods to solve legal tasks, and formulate conclusions based on a comprehensive analysis of legal documents, judicial practices, and legislative norms. The development of this competence requires the application of innovative teaching approaches that integrate modern information technologies into the educational process.

This article discusses the main approaches to the formation of information-analytical competence in law students, particularly at the undergraduate level. Special attention is paid to methods that foster the development of critical thinking, skills for collecting and systematizing legal information, as well as the ability to use information-legal systems for analyzing current legal situations. One such method is project-based learning, which encourages students to engage actively with real legal tasks, as well as interactive technologies that promote the development of practical skills in working with information.

In particular, for the effective formation of information-analytical competence, it is important to combine traditional teaching methods with innovative ones, such as the use of databases, electronic libraries, and online resources for analyzing legal situations. Furthermore, methods that emphasize the development of students' independent work skills, their ability to analyze and synthesize legal information, are also effective.

Thus, the formation of information-analytical competence in law undergraduates is an essential component of modern legal education, enabling students not only to master the fundamentals of law but also to acquire the skills necessary to work in the contemporary legal information environment.
