Abstract

The article examines the theoretical aspects of the educational activity of the class teacher in the context of a modern school. Specifically, the main approaches and methods that are key to the effective implementation of the educational process are identified. The methodology of the research involves defining the main theoretical concepts of the class teacher’s educational activity and analyzing the factors that influence its effectiveness in the context of changes in the educational system. A number of methods were used in the research, including the analysis of scientific literature, the comparative method of studying various approaches to educational activity, synthesis of existing theories, and generalization of the obtained results within the framework of modern pedagogical paradigms. The study showed that the modern class teacher performs important low-level functions such as organizing the socialization of students, creating conditions for the development of their emotional intelligence, promoting moral development, and forming an active civic position. It is also important to develop students' critical thinking, provide them with opportunities to choose a career and life path, and cultivate a sense of responsibility and dignity. The effectiveness of educational activities depends on an individual approach that takes into account the unique characteristics of each student, as well as positive interaction with parents and the community. The study revealed that the educational activity of the class teacher is a complex and multifaceted process that requires constant improvement in response to changes in the socio-cultural and educational environment. The modern class teacher must be prepared for new challenges, such as student socialization, especially through the use of innovative technologies, the process of globalization, and the changing moral and ethical values of youth. In this context, it is important not only to continuously update knowledge and skills but also to create conditions for the harmonious development of the student’s personality, enabling them to successfully adapt to the realities of the modern world.
