Information Technologies in Postgraduate Medical Education in Crisis Situations

Abstract

The study's relevance is due to the need to adapt postgraduate medical education to the changing environment of modern medicine, characterised by rapid technological development, globalisation and increasing requirements for the quality of medical care. Integrating digital technologies into the educational process is a key factor in improving the professional competence of healthcare professionals and ensuring that educational programmes meet modern requirements. The study aims to investigate the use of digital technologies to form individual educational trajectories in postgraduate healthcare education and ensure the continuous professional development of healthcare professionals in crisis situations. The research methods included an analysis of scientific literature and pedagogical experience. These allowed us to identify key factors for successfully implementing digital technologies, including simulation training, artificial intelligence and virtual/augmented reality technologies. Forecasting the development of digital technologies helped identify promising areas for future research. The study identified the main technologies (simulation training, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality) with the greatest potential for transforming postgraduate medical education. The analysis of modern educational models focused on the individual needs of healthcare professionals allowed us to assess their impact on the quality of training. Based on the data obtained, proposals were formulated to improve educational programmes, considering the prospects for developing digital technologies in medicine. The study has shown that such technologies can be a powerful tool for improving the efficiency of postgraduate medical education. However, the successful implementation of innovations requires solving several organisational and technical problems.Despite the results achieved, further research is needed to assess the long-term impact of digital technologies on the quality of medical education.
