Abstract

European integration processes taking place today in all fields of higher education in Ukraine, in particular, in the field of law education determine the relevance of article. Therefore, it is necessary to study theoretically and empirically the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for law students’ value and sense competence formation, which allows and ensures their reorientation from the post-Soviet area to the European Union. Objective of the article is to highlight and experimentally test pedagogical conditions for Bachelors’ of Law value and sense competence formation in the process of master training. The following theoretical and empirical scientific methods were used to study the implementation of pedagogical conditions for value and sense competence formation: analysis, synthesis, comparison, definitional analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, and pedagogical experiment. Results are that concept and essence of law students’ value and sense competence are defined, while emphasizing the presentation and implementation of some pedagogical conditions for its formation. Based on the experience of expert lecturers, most effective pedagogical conditions in the Masters’ of Law professional training were identified using the ranking method. An empirical research of defined pedagogical conditions effectiveness has been carried out by conducting a pedagogical experiment. According to the results of experimental study, the positive impact of events provided by pedagogical conditions was confirmed, which shows their effectiveness in Masters of Law training. Conclusions. Essence and features of value and sense competence are highlighted. The importance of implementing pedagogical conditions for value and semantic competence formation is emphasized. Results of the experimental study will help to enhance Masters of Law training based on a competence-based approach.
