Fundamentals of speech therapy in the context of the new Ukrainian school: methods and strategies to support the speech development of primary school students

The aim of this article is to investigate modern methods and strategies for supporting the speech development of primary school students in the context of the New Ukrainian School. Special emphasis is placed on adapting speech therapy work to innovative technologies and the individual needs of students.
The study utilized methods of systematic analysis of scientific sources, a comparative-historical method to explore the evolution of approaches to speech therapy support, as well asempirical methods such as observations and surveys of teachers and speech therapists. The development of recommendations was based on the analysis of current innovative practices in both Ukrainian and foreign speech therapy.
It has been found that the application of adaptive methods and innovative technologies, such as gamification, digital platforms, and multimedia tools, significantly improves the results of speech therapy support for students. The use of individualized learning approaches enhances the level of integration of students with speech impairments into the general educational process, facilitating their socialization and successful material assimilation.
The results obtained confirm the effectiveness of innovative methods in speech therapy, particularly in the context of inclusive education. The article makes a significant contribution to the understanding and improvement of speech development methodologies for primary school students. Future research could focus on a more detailed study of the long-term impact of these methods on speech development and their adaptation to various educational contexts.
