Purpose: to justify the state of readiness of future social workers to work with socially excluded youth in the context of the study of the reflexive-evaluative component of readiness. It is outlined that the relevance and significance of the study of professional training of future social workers for work takes into account categories of persons, modern trends and changes in the nature of education. In particular, special attention is paid to the future specialist's self-assessment analysis of his professional training, knowledge of his own individual and psychological characteristics, assessment of his own professional capabilities, self-improvement, as well as multifaceted perception and adequate self-observation.. Methods: analysis of scientific and methodological works on the problem of professional training of future social workers for work; summarizing one's own scientific and pedagogical experience in determining the reflexive-evaluative component of the readiness of future social workers to work with socially excluded youth; interpretation of research results. Results: the performed analysis of the state of readiness of future social workers to work with socially excluded youth was carried out. It is emphasized that the educational program of a higher education institution is of great importance for the formation of professional training of future specialists. In particular, special attention is paid to indicators of the reflexive-evaluative component of the readiness of future social workers to work with socially excluded youth. Conclusions: the study of the current state of readiness of future social workers to work with socially excluded youth opens up new opportunities for training a competitive specialist in the chosen field. In particular, it is necessary to develop and implement educational and methodological support to increase the level of readiness of future social workers to work with socially excluded youth.
