Theoretical and Methodological Analysis of the Professional Readiness of Future IT Specialists

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the theoretical and methodological analysis of the concept of "readiness for professional activity" in the context of training future IT professionals. In today's world of information technology, the quality preparation of such specialists is a strategically important task for higher education systems The article discusses the relevance of forming readiness for professional activity as an integral personal state, which encompasses knowledge, skills, motivation, value orientations, and the ability to effectively apply these resources in practical activity. The aim of the article is to determine the structure of readiness for professional activity among IT professionals and to justify the pedagogical conditions for its formation in higher education institutions. It is determined that readiness includes psychological, cognitive-intellectual, social, and practical-activity components that ensure the integrity and effectiveness of preparing future specialists. The research results confirm that psychological readiness covers personal and functional aspects, including motivation, emotional intelligence, and the ability for self-regulation. The cognitive-intellectual component ensures the acquisition of specialized knowledge, the development of analytical thinking, and the ability to work with information. The social component emphasizes the development of communication skills, teamwork, and ethical awareness. The practical activity component focuses on technical proficiency, adaptation to real working conditions, innovation, and the ability to solve practical problems. The article concludes that the formation of readiness for professional activity requires a comprehensive approach that considers both personal and professional aspects of preparation.
