Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the role of mobile apps in facilitating online learning and their influence on the effectiveness of the educational process. Special focus is given to the necessity of a thorough analysis of these apps' features to enhance the learning experience.

Methods. To achieve this goal, the study includes an analysis of modern mobile applications and their capabilities, as well as an assessment of their impact on the motivation of students and the individualization of learning. In particular, the use of such tools as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Kahoot! and others is investigated, which allow organizing the educational process, creating interactive tasks and providing feedback. An assessment of their functional capabilities allows identifying both advantages and disadvantages in the context of online education.

The results of the study indicate that modern mobile applications contribute to increasing the effectiveness of online learning, providing opportunities for a personalized approach, interaction between participants in the educational process and convenient access to materials. However, to ensure their maximum effectiveness, it is necessary to improve the interfaces, in particular, to integrate adaptive functions and gamification, which will increase the involvement of education seekers.

The findings of the study indicate the need to continue working on improving mobile applications for online education, focusing on ease of use, personalization of the educational experience and integration of innovative technologies. In addition, it is important to train educators and ensure equal access to digital technologies for all education seekers.
