Art education in the period of global cultural transformations and the issue of intercultural competence formation in the process of vocal training

Abstract

Globalization trends have rapidly entered our existence and affect all spheres of life, the artistic educational sphere requires adaptation and reform, which must be supported scientifically, be meaningful, and practically tested.

The article presents trends in the impact of globalization on domestic education, highlights the need to transform forms and methods of knowledge transfer, acquire professional competence; the importance of introducing innovative educational technologies into the educational process and their use in teaching, etc.

The article examines the factors of globalization's impact on a number of modernization shifts in education in general and in domestic higher education institutions, in particular, the artistic direction.

Based on the identified key features of modernization in education, a visual example of its implementation in the process of forming intercultural competence is presented, the acquisition of performing experience, mastering of the Ukrainian repertoire, its adequate processing by representatives of different cultural traditions is actualized. It is found that mastering of intercultural competence will contribute to the dissemination of cultural values, the preservation of national features in creativity.

The article updates the significant globalization transformations that affect art education, which require clarification and finding solutions by a progressive community of educators. The positive model of the impact of globalization is associated with the accumulated cultural experience of humanity, the accessibility of its knowledge to contemporaries in cooperation and interaction between peoples and cultures, which does not separate them, but leads to mutual influence. Educators in the field of art need to take care of the formation of a holistic picture of the world in the new generation, the accumulation of spiritual culture that affects behavioral processes, lays a powerful foundation for spirituality and self-improvement, as well as competence formation.
