The article deals with the biomechanical aspects of technical training of young basketball players. Key motor actions in basketball, such as moving, shooting, passing and defensive actions, are highlighted in terms of their biomechanical optimization. Objective: to investigate the biomechanical aspects of the technical preparation of young basketball players. Methods: theoretical analysis of data from literary sources on the research topic. Results: the importance of proper balance, movement trajectory, and execution technique for improving athletic performance and reducing the risk of injury is outlined. The role of the coach in developing technical skills is revealed, as well as the importance of modern technologies, such as motion sensors, virtual reality, and video analysis, in improving the training of young athletes. Examples of biomechanical analysis of throws and recommendations for injury prevention are presented. Special attention is paid to the development of strength, endurance, and coordination of movements, as well as methods for their optimization using a biomechanical approach. Conclusions. The article emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive approach to training that takes into account modern technologies and biomechanical aspects for the formation of successful and healthy athletes.
