Abstract

Music education plays a key role in the formation of personality, influencing not only creative abilities but also the development of social skills and the assimilation of cultural values. In China's school environment, where considerable attention is paid to harmonising interpersonal relationships, music is emerging as an effective tool for fostering a culture of business communication. A special place in this process is occupied by traditional Chinese songs, which contribute not only to enriching the spiritual world of schoolchildren but also to preserving cultural heritage, shaping national identity and fostering respect for national values.

The article is devoted to the study of the impact of the integration of musical disciplines, in particular traditional Chinese melodies, on the development of communicative and ethical competences of students necessary for their future professional and social development.

Objective. To analyse the role of the integration of musical disciplines in the formation of communication skills, ethical principles, and interpersonal relations among students, which contribute to the development of a culture of business communication.

Methods. The study analysed modern scientific sources published over the past five years concerning music education and its socio-cultural impact.

Results. The study revealed the positive impact of music education on the culture of business communication in the school environment. Students who are actively involved in music lessons demonstrate a higher level of empathy, ability to work effectively in teams, tolerance and communication flexibility. Music education contributes to the development of active listening skills, recognition of non-verbal signals, and the ability to constructively resolve conflict situations.

Conclusions. Music education plays a significant role in shaping the culture of business communication among schoolchildren in China. The integration of musical disciplines into the educational process contributes to the comprehensive development of the individual, preparation for the future professional environment and strengthening of social ties in the school community. Given the results obtained, it is advisable to strengthen the role of music education in curricula as an effective tool for socio-cultural education.
