Intercultural professional training of future foreign language teachers in the information educational space

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to characterize intercultural competence, determine the main directions and content of intercultural professional training of future foreign language teachers in the informational educational space of higher education institutions. To achieve the goal, the following research methods were used: analysis of scientific sources, comparative analysis, synthesis and generalization. The results of the study show that intercultural competence ensures the readiness of the future specialist to solve communicative tasks in the process of professional activity by means of searching and analyzing information necessary for the formation of special abilities and skills by means of information and communication technologies. Informatization of the educational process ensures optimal and effective perception, assimilation and use of educational information in an interactive mode; allows education seekers to master methods of activity in conditions of availability of any information resources, creates conditions for optimal application of scientific-pedagogical, linguistic-didactic, educational-methodical, software-technological developments. The conclusions indicate that the intercultural professional training of future foreign language teachers involves the formation of personal abilities to solve professional problems and typical professional tasks that arise in real conditions of intercultural communication in all spheres of life with the use of information and communication technologies of the linguistic society in accordance with the values and inclinations of the future specialist . To increase the effectiveness of professional training of future foreign language teachers as carriers of intercultural interaction, it is necessary to improve teaching methods, expand the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process of higher education.
