Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study and develop a system for enhancing the digital competence of vocational-theoretical training instructors in vocational education institutions during the inter-course period. In modern conditions, the digital transformation of education necessitates the implementation of innovative approaches to professional development, ensuring effective adaptation to the evolving requirements of the labor market and educational standards. The article examines key conceptual approaches to developing digital competence, including e-learning technologies, distance learning platforms, and adaptive models of professional growth.

The research methods included an analysis of scientific sources, a comparative analysis of international practices, expert surveys, and the modeling of educational trajectories. A systemic approach was used to determine the factors influencing the effectiveness of digital skill development among instructors. Special attention was paid to integrating digital tools into the educational process, assessing the level of digital competence, and developing recommendations for its improvement.

The research results indicate that the key elements of an effective system for developing digital competence include personalized educational trajectories, regular professional development through digital platforms, mentorship and feedback methodologies, and the formation of professional learning communities. The proposed system integrates both formal and informal learning, fostering instructors’ adaptability to technological changes and ensuring their professional mobility.

The study's conclusions confirm the necessity of a comprehensive approach to developing the digital competence of vocational-theoretical training instructors during the inter-course period. It has been determined that an effective digital transformation strategy for vocational education should be based on a combination of digital technologies, individualized learning pathways, and mechanisms for continuous improvement. The research findings can be used to design educational programs and implement digital solutions in the vocational education system.
