Vertical Stability as an Indicator of Somatic Health in Young Schoolchildren with Sensory System Deprivation

The problem of postural stability is extremely important for understanding the somatic health of younger schoolchildren with sensory system deprivation, as postural stability reflects the body's ability to maintain balance under various external influences, which is critical for the overall physical development and health of children. Objective is to study the features of postural stability formation in children with hearing impairments and ways to improve it in the process of adaptive physical education. Research methods: theoretical analysis and synthesis of data from scientific-methodological and special literature, comparison, systematization. Research results. The formation of postural stability, the factor structure of physical development, static balance, and the biogeometric state of posture, indicators of the ability to maintain body balance, reaction, spatial orientation, rhythm, control of spatial and strength parameters of movements in younger schoolchildren with hearing deprivation were studied. It was found that children with hearing impairments have significant difficulties in the formation of motor functions, have a lower level of coordination, agility, static balance, as well as speed-strength abilities compared to their healthy peers. The study of amplitude-frequency characteristics showed that children with hearing impairments have a greater amplitude of body oscillations, indicating instability of postural stability. Conclusions. The study and analysis of scientific works on the formation of postural stability and ways of its development and improvement in schoolchildren with hearing deprivation indicated the need to apply modern methods of diagnosing the components of this indicator. It is also advisable to make changes to the existing technologies for improving postural stability in children with sensory system deprivation, taking into account the traditions of the New Ukrainian School. In particular, the use of artificial controlled environment means in the process of adaptive physical education of this category of schoolchildren will contribute to the improvement of their postural stability and the correction of the motor sphere as a whole.
