Various aspects of the educational process of formation of a new ecological culture among applicants for education in the context of sustainable development are analyzed, taking into account the results of scientific works on this topic of Ukrainian and foreign scientists. The results consider the theoretical and methodological principles of the formation of ecological culture among applicants for education in connection with the sharp deterioration of the ecological situation due to the economic activity of people and modern military operations of the russian-ukrainian war.
