Abstract

Abstract: This article is dedicated to the analysis of innovative approaches and the implementation of distance learning methods in the system of higher medical education in Ukraine. The literature review examines current trends in the use of technologies in higher medical education, with a focus on distance methods and their impact on the preparation of future specialists. The paper reviews leading scientific research and publications in this field, highlighting both positive and negative aspects of using distance methods in the educational process of medical institutions. Challenges and opportunities arising from the implementation of distance technologies in higher medical education are analyzed, including considerations regarding the quality of education, accessibility for students, and the development of technological infrastructure. The study aims to address relevant issues in the field of higher medical education within the context of employing distance methods and may serve as a foundation for further research in this area. The article investigates the specifics of utilizing distance learning technologies in the training of future medical professionals. General scientific methods and expert assessments from medical education professionals were employed in the study. Data analysis followed standard mathematical statistical methods. Research results indicate that distance learning can be effective for preparing future medical professionals, especially considering the constraints imposed during times of military conflict. However, the authors note that the use of distance learning should align with the realities of medical practice, as many essential skills and competencies required for future professionals can only be acquired through practical training. The obtained results may be valuable for educators, students, and researchers dealing with the challenges of preparing future medical professionals in medical education. Additionally, policymakers responsible for educational development and legislative changes in this field could benefit from these findings. The prospects for further research in the field of distance learning for future medical professionals are extensive. One direction could involve the development and application of innovative technologies to enhance the efficiency of distance learning.
