Criteria for assessing the technical preparedness of 13-14 year old students in the process of extracurricular volleyball training

The article discusses a system of criteria for assessing the level of technical preparedness of middle school students during extracurricular volleyball training. Emphasis is placed on the importance of clear and objective criteria for evaluation, which allow determining the level of mastery of basic technical skills in the game. A comprehensive approach to assessing students' movement skills and qualities specific to each technical element is proposed in the development of the criteria. Special attention is given to the individualization of assessment, as students' preparedness levels and playing roles may vary significantly. The aim of the work is to develop and justify a system of criteria for the objective evaluation of the technical preparedness level of adolescents engaged in volleyball during extracurricular training sessions. Methods. Theoretical analysis and generalization of data from specialized scientific and methodological literature, the Internet, technical preparedness testing, and mathematical statistics. Results. It is determined that the key criteria for evaluating technical actions in volleyball include: execution technique, accuracy, strength and dynamics, reaction. speed and decision-making, effectiveness of technical actions, and movement coordination. The effectiveness of the proposed criteria for monitoring and improving the training process in volleyball among students of this age group is noted, contributing to the enhancement of their technical level. The percentage increase in the total score for evaluating the studied technical actions ranged from 41.44% to 57.05%. The dynamics of the score changes for all technical actions in the pedagogical experiment were statistically significant. Conclusions are drawn regarding the developed system for evaluating the technical preparedness of 13-14-year-old students, which should be flexible, taking into account individual and age-specific features of the students. It should include assessments of the accuracy and quality of technical actions, coordination level, as well as the ability to adapt to game situations.
