Abstract

The article defines the essence of the concept of "professional self-realization" with a focus on the professional activity of a lawyer. To achieve the research objective and in the process of implementing the research tasks, the following research methods were used: theoretical (analysis, synthesis, comparison, classification) – to analyze philosophical, psychological, and pedagogical literature in order to study the essence of the concepts of self-realization and professional self-realization.

The article examines the concepts of self-realization and professional self-realization of an individual. Scientific approaches to defining these concepts are analyzed. It is substantiated that professional self-determination begins when a person starts thinking about their future profession, considering their interests, abilities, preferences, and the prestige of the specialty.

The study concludes that professional self-realization plays one of the key roles in the professional development of an individual. Through professional self-realization, a person can assess whether they have fulfilled themselves as a professional. Professional activity will be effective when an individual applies their creativity and innovation. Professional self-realization occurs when a person has fully developed value orientations. Moreover, professional self-realization helps establish the socio-psychological space for an individual's existence within the profession.

It is proven that self-realization in a profession is an integral part of an individual's personality, involving the discovery and realization of their potential and their fulfillment in professional activities. This process represents a stage in the continuous journey of self-improvement, creating new aspirations and needs at a higher level.

The professional self-realization of a lawyer is a complex, structured, and multi-stage process of gradually transforming professional potential into reality throughout life. This integrated professional-personal formation consists of various types of experience, specialized theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and personal qualities. It ensures that a professional in the field of legal sciences, legislation, and law enforcement is prepared to effectively perform their professional duties.
