The study aims to analyze the role of modern technologies in the development of basketball, particularly through the implementation of innovative equipment and specialized sports facilities. It examines how automation in data collection, video analytics, digital simulators, LED-glass floors, intelligent lighting systems, and virtual reality technologies influence the training process, organization of competitions, and fan engagement. Methods. The research employs structural and comparative analysis methods, along with content analysis of scientific publications and normative documents that regulate the operation of basketball sports facilities. It synthesizes international experience in the application of technologies within sports infrastructure, based on the expert evaluation of FIBA and best practices in sports complex management. Results. The analysis reveals that modern basketball sports facilities fulfill both sporting and social roles, providing a comfortable environment for training, competitions, and interactive engagement with fans. The use of artificial intelligence and machine learning systems significantly enhances game analytics, enables automated player tracking, and optimizes officiating processes. Furthermore, the development of 5G connectivity and cloud technologies opens new opportunities for personalized match viewing, real-time data analysis, and improved operational efficiency of sports arenas. The study also emphasizes the importance of integrating green technologies to ensure the energy efficiency of sports facilities. Conclusions. Innovative technologies contribute to increased efficiency in basketball training, improved broadcast quality, enhanced fan engagement, and optimized use of sports facilities. The introduction of LED-glass floors, automated video analytics systems, advanced officiating control, and virtual reality technologies is transforming the management of sports venues, facilitating their adaptation to modern requirements, and creating new opportunities for commercial utilization. However, there remains a need to develop unified standards for safety, technical maintenance, and financial accessibility of such technologies.
