Abstract

The purpose of the article is to identify effective strategies for implementing the project method in the educational process of higher education institutions. This teaching methodology promotes the development of teamwork skills, rational time management and responsibilities, as well as the integration of sectoral and interdisciplinary knowledge into the process of performing practical tasks. To achieve this goal, a set of scientific methods was used, including analysis, explanation, comparison, generalization, and systematization, which allowed us to comprehensively consider the features of project-based learning in higher education. The results indicate that project-based learning as a strategy for the educational process in higher education institutions opens up wide opportunities for the development of students’ professional and personal competencies. It not only changes the traditional learning format, but also contributes to the formation of research skills, independent thinking, and the ability to find effective solutions within various forms of activity. Thanks to this approach, students not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also consolidate it through practical application, which is especially important in the context of interdisciplinary tasks. Given the rapid development of technology, the project-based method involves the active use of digital resources, including artificial intelligence, multimedia platforms, and technical support necessary for both creating and presenting work results. At the same time, this learning strategy develops the basic skills of the 21st century, including time management, teamwork, analytical and critical thinking, and the ability to work with various information sources and argue one’s own position. It is also important for the Ukrainian educational space to attract international pedagogical experience and use the best practices of foreign colleagues in the field of project-based learning. The conclusions state that in the context of global changes and increasing competition in the field of education, the development of strategies for the implementation of project-based learning is one of the priorities for Ukrainian higher education institutions. A systematic and thoughtful approach to the integration of this method will contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists who can quickly adapt to the modern labor market.
