The article deals with the introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies in the process of teaching physical education and sports. Modern teaching methods that contribute to increasing students' motivation, developing their physical abilities and forming a healthy lifestyle are analyzed. The model of implementation and adaptation of innovative technologies to different groups of students, taking into account their physical, cognitive and psychological characteristics, is proposed. The prospects of using information and communication technologies, gamification, adaptive fitness programs, VR and AR simulators in the educational process are considered. The main challenges of implementing modern pedagogical methods and possible ways to overcome them are identified. The purpose of the article is to develop a model for the introduction and adaptation of innovative pedagogical technologies to multi-level groups of students, taking into account their physical, cognitive and psychological characteristics. In the study of the introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies in the process of teaching physical education and sports, a set of methods was used to comprehensively analyze the problem and develop an effective model for adapting the educational process to the needs of multilevel groups of students: analysis and synthesis of scientific literature; comparative analysis and modeling method to develop a model for the introduction and adaptation of innovative pedagogical technologies to multilevel groups of students, taking into account their physical, cognitive and psychological characteristics. Results. The study provides the author's definition of the concept of “innovative pedagogical technologies”. By these, the authors mean modern methods, tools and approaches to the organization of the educational process aimed at improving its efficiency, individualization of learning and active involvement of higher education students in learning activities. The authors also develop and describe a model for the introduction and adaptation of innovative pedagogical technologies to different groups of students, taking into account their physical, cognitive and psychological characteristics. Conclusions. The introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies in the process of teaching physical education and sports is an important step towards improving the efficiency of the educational process. The proposed model of implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies allows to take into account physical, cognitive and psychological characteristics of students, providing a differentiated approach to learning. It includes diagnostics of the level of physical fitness, development of personalized curricula, integration of modern technologies and continuous monitoring of results.
