Abstract

One of Ukraine’s priorities is to create an inclusive educational environment that provides educational services to all categories of children. A scientific analysis of the experience of implementing various forms of special education for children shows that the state plays a leading role in this process, and the state’s policy towards disabled people is based on equality and protection of equal rights, so that they can live a full life. The purpose of the article is to consider the essence of the psychological aspects of including children with special educational needs in musical groups. The paper uses the method of comparative analysis, which made it possible to establish the dynamics of educational processes that underlie the development of inclusive education, as well as to identify common and distinctive features in their programs. The use of the synthesis method in writing the article allowed us to present the results and conclusions in a concise and specific manner. As a result of the research, it was proved that one of the key psychological advantages of integrating such children into music groups is the creation of a favorable environment for the development of social skills and emotional well-being of all students. Students with special needs can communicate with their peers without restrictions, which contributes to positive self-determination and fostering a sense of belonging to a common group. In addition, successful inclusive education in music groups requires fruitful cooperation between students, teachers, parents and other participants in the educational process. The obtained results include the definition of methods for developing theoretical and practical aspects of implementing effective changes in the field of inclusive education based on the available experience, trends and models of professional training of teachers. As a conclusion, the inclusion of a child with special educational needs in musical groups is a prerequisite for their inclusion in the general space of education, upbringing and development, as this improves not only their academic achievements, social skills, positive worldview, but also their health.
