Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the effectiveness of music therapy as an innovative method of psychological and pedagogical influence on the emotional and volitional sphere of schoolchildren. It is aimed at studying the effectiveness of music therapy in improving the emotional state and developing willpower of students. The article considers the theoretical aspects of music therapy, including the psychological mechanisms of music's influence on the emotional and volitional spheres of a person. Based on the analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature and the results of empirical research, the study demonstrates the positive impact of music therapy on the psycho-emotional state and academic achievements of primary and secondary school students, analyzes the effectiveness of various approaches, such as musical improvisation, the use of music to reduce their stress and anxiety levels, increasing emotional well-being, improving concentration, developing willpower such as self-control, self-discipline and self-regulation, etc. The impact of music therapy on the mental and physical health of children, as well as on their psychosocial and emotional needs, is studied. The article analyzes specific approaches to the use of music therapy in the treatment of various pathologies and diseases in school-aged children. The article highlights methods and strategies for using music therapy in a school setting, including individual and group sessions, musical exercises, and various relaxation techniques. In addition, the practical aspects of introducing music therapy into the school educational process are discussed in order to improve the quality of life and rehabilitation of children, and advice and recommendations for pedagogical practice are provided. The findings of the study can be useful for teachers, psychologists and other professionals working with children in the school environment, for parents and researchers in the field of music pedagogy and psychology who are interested in the psycho-emotional development of children and adolescents, as well as for the administration of educational institutions that strive increase the effectiveness of the educational process and ensure psychological comfort for students.
