The article examines the ways of solving the health problems of physical education of applicants for general secondary education in the process of muscular activity of aerobic orientation. It can be assumed that the introduction of Nordic walking classes both in the educational and extracurricular work of applicants for general secondary education can become a powerful means of developing and improving the functional capabilities of the child's body.
The purpose of the article: experimental verification of the effect of Nordic walking classes on the physical condition of children aged 12-13.
The methodology of the study is the analysis of scientific and educational-methodical literature, Internet sources; to determine the physical condition of children of all ages, a comprehensive assessment was used: health status, morbidity, physique, physical development, testing of physical fitness and performance of the child's body; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics.
Research results. The introduced methodology of Nordic walking classes included three stages, at which the main tasks were defined, practical recommendations were developed, control standards and requirements were established. The tasks of adapting the body to increasing loads, improving physical fitness, and against this background, gradually increasing the speed of movement were solved. Expanding the range of action of Nordic walking contributed to a gradual decrease in the incidence rate, increasing the level of physical fitness of the child's body. Experimental classes increased the emotional background of physical education lessons, contributed to the improvement and development of skills and abilities in using Nordic walking in everyday life.
Conclusions. It has been experimentally proven that the use of Nordic walking with a motivated attitude of applicants for general secondary education to regular physical education classes, which were held only in the fresh air, as well as on a high emotional background, is much more effective. The variety of means, content and conditions of Nordic walking classes, which created adequate aerobic exercise regimes, positively affected all components of the physical condition of applicants for general secondary education aged 12-13.
