Abstract

The article is devoted to analyzing modern approaches and tools integrated into foreign language teaching, particularly the use of the latest technologies and methods that enhance the efficiency of the educational process.The aim of the article is to analyze the impact of digital technologies on the process of learning foreign languages, assess their effectiveness in developing language skills of students, and identify the main challenges. The research methods include an analysis of modern literature on the use of innovative technologies in education, comparing the effectiveness of traditional methods and new tools, synthesizing the data obtained, and generalizing. The results of the study showed that the use of digital technologies in teaching foreign languages ​​has a positive effect on students' motivation, allowing them to more effectively master the material through interactive and authentic resources. It is noted that today foreign language teaching is mainly focused on the development of productive skills, such as speaking and writing. Such innovative approaches to learning foreign languages ​​as multimedia technologies, virtual classrooms, mobile applications, and games are considered. With the help of applications such as Duolingo, Memrise, and Babbel, students can effectively expand their vocabulary, master grammatical structures, and improve their pronunciation. It was found that specialized platforms, in particular YouTube and TED Talk, are actively used to develop listening skills. Text editors based on artificial intelligence, which have recently become widespread, are characterized. A new stage in the development of foreign language learning technologies is represented by systems that are able to edit a ready-made text and create a new one based on prompts. Such tools include Grammarly, ProWritingAid, ChatGPT, which have become quite popular in educational, professional and personal activities. It is emphasized that tools based on artificial intelligence should be considered as an additional learning tool, and not as a full-fledged replacement for traditional methods. Conclusions. The integration of technologies into teaching and learning foreign languages ​​is an important step towards improving the quality of education, which not only opens up new opportunities, but is also accompanied by a number of challenges. Overcoming these difficulties requires an integrated approach and is key to the effective use of digital tools in teaching foreign languages.
