Abstract

There is an urgent need to answer the question of what the focus and content of physical education for students from the list of fields of knowledge and specialties in which training is carried out in institutions of higher and professional pre-higher education that do not have a military orientation should be. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the requirements for the modernization of "Physical Education" at the final stage of many years of organized physical education classes for children and youth, which is the training of students in civilian institutions of pre-higher and higher education. The following methods were used in the study: study and generalization of data from literary sources, as well as abstraction, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction.

The results show that the conducted pedagogical experiment confirmed the validity of the concept and technology of modernization of the discipline "Physical Education" with its component of non-professional physical education. The effectiveness of the substantiated and developed pedagogical technology was confirmed, the forms and means of non-professional physical education were applied in accordance with the pedagogical technology used. Systematic physical activity and regular physical exercises of applicants during classes in "Physical Education" really contribute to physical training and improve the functional state and are necessary in life activities. However, a high level of physical training is not the ultimate goal of many years of organized physical education classes for young people. Mastering physical education by applicants should be reflected as a desired and important result in the work programs on "Physical Education" for civilian institutions of pre-higher and higher education.

The conclusions of the study emphasize the importance of the technology of non-professional physical education of applicants. In its essence, it is a logically structured sequence of actions of teachers who direct applicants to understand the features of the rational organization of the active life of a modern person. And also to the actualization of the values of living a healthy and active life by the latter, the formation of competencies, which through the necessary pedagogical influences together with the first experience of their own classes ensure the generation of physical activity and the activity of building their own health. It has been proven that for applicants who attend regular classes in "Physical Education", their formation as physically active individuals and builders of their own health is not characteristic.
