Key Aspects of Ensuring Professional Physical Training for the Personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Other Military Formations

The relevance of the study is driven by the urgent need to identify the most effective ways to improve the process of physical education for military personnel in Ukraine amid ongoing armed conflict and the implementation of NATO standards within the physical training system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The article analyzes the regulatory and legal framework governing physical training in the security and defense sector, particularly in the context of adapting to NATO standards. It presents research findings from contemporary scholars on enhancing combat effectiveness through the improvement of physical training. The study identifies key staffing, educational, and methodological challenges that hinder the development of the current system. The aim of the article is to examine the current state, problems, and prospects for the development of the physical training system for personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the conditions of NATO integration. The research applies comparative analysis and theoretical generalization methods. The results substantiate the need to modernize the training approaches for instructors, coaches, and educators in physical training and sports, and to broaden the professional scope of future specialists in physical culture and sports. The conclusions emphasize the importance of developing and implementing innovative educational programs and technologies that will contribute to establishing a physical training system for military personnel that aligns with NATO standards.
