Psychological and pedagogical aspects of socialization of older adolescents with special educational needs in the process of tourism and local history activities

The modern education system in Ukraine is focused on implementing an inclusive approach, which involves creating conditions for equal access to educational and educational opportunities for all students, including those with special educational needs. One of the important areas of this process is ensuring effective socialization of older adolescents - an age category that is experiencing complex psychological transformations associated with the formation of self-esteem, identity, communication skills and adaptation to the social environment. In this context, sports and mass activities appear as a powerful psychological and pedagogical tool that combines cognitive activity, physical mobility, joint interaction and impressions saturated with positive emotions. It contributes to the development of social competencies, communication skills, emotional stability and a sense of belonging to the team, which is especially important for adolescents with special educational needs, who often face difficulties in the field of interpersonal interaction and self-actualization.
Introduction. Socialization of older adolescents is one of the key tasks of modern education, since it is in this age period that personality traits are actively formed, moral guidelines are determined, self-awareness and the ability to responsibly interact with the world around them develop. For adolescents with special educational needs, this process is especially difficult and requires the creation of favorable psychological and pedagogical conditions that take into account their individual needs, capabilities and developmental characteristics.
The relevance of this topic is growing due to the increase in the number of students with special educational needs who study in inclusive education, which requires the search for effective approaches to ensure their full participation in the educational and social environment. One of the promising areas in this context is the involvement of such adolescents in tourist and local history activities that combine cognitive, communicative, physical and practical aspects of teamwork. Such activities contribute to the formation of communication skills, self-service skills, self-confidence and a sense of belonging to the team in adolescents with special educational needs, which significantly facilitates their social adaptation.The purpose of the research is to substantiate the psychological and pedagogical conditions and identify effective means of socialization of older adolescents with special educational needs in the process of tourist and local history activities as an inclusive educational resource that contributes to the formation of social skills, emotional stability, self-awareness and adaptation in society. Materials and methods of research.In the process of research, various methods and materials were used to study the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the socialization of older adolescents with special educational needs in the process of tourism and local history activities, such as: theoretical analysis of the literature. Analysis of scientific sources, publications, research and methodological developments related to the problem of socialization of adolescents with special educational needs in the context of tourism and local history activities. Review of modern approaches to inclusive education, adaptation of programs and methods.Research results The issue of the impact of tourism and local history activities on the socialization of older adolescents with special educational needs is extremely important and requires in-depth analysis. This type of activity is an effective means of social development, especially for students with special educational needs, because it allows not only to acquire new knowledge, but also to actively interact with peers, cooperate in a team, form social and emotional skills, and overcome psychological barriers by overcoming difficulties in new conditions.
A key factor in socialization is the development of communication skills. This is especially important for adolescents with special educational needs, as they often face difficulties in emotional regulation and interpersonal interaction. Tourist activities, which include joint games, exercises and teamwork, create conditions for practical improvement of communication skills in a real environment. Participation in hikes or excursions contributes to the active establishment of social contacts, reduces the feeling of isolation and promotes the formation of friendly relationships.
The experience of participating in tourist and local history activities has shown that adolescents with SEN demonstrate improvements in cooperation, a decrease in the level of emotional tension, and also become more open to communication. They more often participate in collective discussions, express their own thoughts and feelings, which has a positive effect on their self-esteem and helps to establish relationships with peers. Conclusions. Inclusive education and pedagogical strategies aimed at developing students' social and emotional skills have a significant impact on the level of success of their socialization. The use of such methods allows students with special educational needs to integrate into the general team, develop their strengths, and improve interaction with peers. The success of this process largely depends on the preparedness of teachers and the availability of the necessary resources to ensure equal opportunities for all students.
