Abstract

The publication outlines the content of health-preserving pedagogy and health-preserving socialisation of primary schoolchildren with special educational needs. Attention is focused on the relevance of health-promoting pedagogy and health-promoting socialisation of primary schoolchildren, which is due to many factors, including changes in the socio-economic environment, in the education system, the COVID-2019 pandemic and martial law, as well as the growth of health problems among children. In this context, it is important to take into account the developmental and educational needs of children with special educational needs, their physical and mental health, as well as the need to form healthy social relationships. Ensuring the health-preserving socialisation of primary school children with special educational needs is a key factor in the formation of harmoniously developed individuals who are able to function effectively in society, maintaining their health and ensuring social activity. This contributes to the overall improvement of the quality of life of future generations and prevents the emergence of numerous health problems in adulthood.
