The study is devoted to the study of the problem of improving the methods of professional and practical training of future social workers for work in the community in emergency situations. To achieve the goal and fulfill the tasks of the study, a set of scientific research methods was applied, namely: theoretical - study, analysis and generalization of scientific literature, educational and methodological publications on the problem under study, synthesis; comparison and generalization of data; empirical - diagnostic methods (method of scientific observation, questionnaires, conversations and interviews) to identify the effectiveness of the proposed methods of improving the readiness of future social workers for work in the community in emergency situations. An analysis of effective methods of professional and practical training of future social workers for work in the community in emergency situations was carried out. It was found that during the application of the above methods, namely: visualization, gamification, feedback and self-reflection, as well as by reading mini-lectures, studying methods of psycho-emotional self-regulation, conducting collective discussions and brainstorming, students more effectively assimilate the acquired knowledge and find non-standard ways of solving professional tasks in emergency situations. The proposed methods should contribute to the development of such traits as self-esteem, confidence, courage, sociability, etc., which are extremely important for the successful work of a social worker in a community in emergency situations. Moreover, the above methods turned out to be effective for distance and blended learning. The results of the study can be used for practical purposes by social workers and psychologists of institutions in order to improve the process of providing socio-psychological support to various categories of the population in communities in emergency situations, as well as by scientists studying the outlined issues. The conclusions emphasize that the proposed educational and methodological developments can be useful in creating appropriate academic disciplines for undergraduate students who need appropriate knowledge at the beginning of their professional work.
